We compare their technical characteristics and performance to find the best solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udd0d <strong>Technical analysis of floodlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 <strong>Metal halides<\/strong> \u2013 Technology based on an electric arc in a gaseous mixture of metal halides. Efficiency between <strong>75-100 lm\/W<\/strong>, but with light emitted at 360\u00b0, reducing overall efficiency. High decay of luminous flux (<strong>20% after 2,000 hours<\/strong>) and long restart times (<strong>10-15 minutes<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 <strong>Electromagnetic induction<\/strong> \u2013 Electrodeless system, based on noble gases ionized by an electromagnetic field. Efficiency comparable to metal halide (<strong>65-90 lm\/W<\/strong>) and 360\u00b0 diffused light with loss of efficiency. Very long life (<strong>up to 100,000 hours<\/strong>) with low decay (<strong>20% after 90,000 hours<\/strong>). No flickering or glare, with the possibility of dimming the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 <strong>LED<\/strong> \u2013 Semiconductor technology with directional emission, very high efficiency (<strong>180-200 lm\/W)<\/strong>, duration between <strong>35,000 <\/strong>and<strong> 50,000 hours<\/strong> and possibility of dimming.
